The McLaren 720 GT3 is a very fine race car. The McLaren 720 Spider is a very fine hypercar. You'd think the GT3 would be faster on the street as well as the track, but nooooo. The hypercar may not have the best roadholding, but it has a couple hundred extra horsepower, and in the L.A. Canyons, it proved the faster of the two. The GT3 car is more sure-footed on any race track, although nowhere a smooth as the wind-in-your-virtual-hair Spider. Here are setups for each.
