So I'm tooling around Assen in the IMSA variant of Honda's ARX-03b (by the oft-reviled SDD) and thinking that it's preternaturally quick. Not having any reference data for the Dutch track, I decide to check it out at aa's version of Michigan Speedway, a two-mile tri-oval. Sure enough, it's too damn fast, topping out at speeds that haven't been seen in a road-race since they put the chicanes in the Mulsanne Straight. In fact, it's faster than Mark Donohue's absolute closed-circuit record...
